I found this story funny, stupendous and whimsical because the Moon and the Sun were married and they have children which is very unusual. One day, one of their child was burned and dead because of the Sun. The Moon forbid the Sun to touch their children because of what happen. One day, the Moon went outside and told the Sun not touch their children. One of their child was burned and dead again so the Sun and the Moon fought. The Sun threw a mud in the Moon's face that's why there are black marks in the Moon's face. The Sun and the Moon chase each other around and around. They have been chasing around each other ever since.
The place of origin of this story is from Mindanao and it was written around 1916. Well it has positive points though. It can make you laugh in some matter. And there's a lesson that we should learn. Always follow your parent's order because not following orders will lead you to unexpected accidents.
